About our coalition:

We are concerned members of Alberta's school staff. We work with students every day and can't ignore how government cuts are impacting their education.

The Kids Not Cuts Alberta coalition is made up of educational support workers from all of Alberta's K-12 schools. Our coalition represents nearly 10,000 committed Albertans including our librarians, special needs experts, custodians, receptionists, facility operators, and other support staff. We come together to take a stand for Alberta's kids through our unions – the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Communications Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada (CEP). Students, parent groups, our amazing teacher colleagues, as well as everyday Albertans are allies in our coalition.

Why we care:

This is Alberta, we believe our children's education is fundamental to their futures. We want our provincial government to do right by Alberta's kids by putting a stop to irresponsible cuts for good.
